Tehran Museum Holds ‘A Carving on Stone’

TEHRAN – The Tehran 
Museum of Contemporary Art is currently hosting an exhibition titled ‘A Carving on Stone’, featuring a selection of artworks by Iranian, Palestinian, and international artists.
Curated by art critic and researcher Muhammad-Reza Vahidzadeh, the exhibition focuses on the theme of Palestine.  
The exhibition showcases pieces from the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art’s own collection, as well as contributions from the Saba Cultural and Art Institute, the Cultural and Artistic Institution of Ravayat-e Fat’h, and various personal collections.
The display includes works by artists from different eras, using a variety of styles and techniques. These masterpieces were created in response to the Gaza genocide by the Israel.
Prominent contemporary artists such as Banksy, Ai Weiwei, Mike Pare, Samia Halaby, and Maisara Baroud are featured in the exhibition.
Additionally, the show includes over 100 works by notable Iranian artists, including Habibollah Sadeqi, Kazem Chalipaa, Iraj Eskandari, Hussein Khosrojerdi, Nasser Palangi, Qolamali Taheri, Mostafa Goudarzi, Morteza Asadi, Abdolhamid Qadirian, Ahmad Esfandiari, Muhammad Ali Tarqijah, Habibollah Ayatollahi, Ali Vazirian, and Mostafa Naderlou.
The exhibition will run until September 8.
